The Department of Economics,Govt. Degree college Bijbehara organized Quiz Competition on 11th of December 2021,on the theme'Modern Micro Economics' under the patronage of Hon'ble Principal Prof. Nighat Fatima. A total number of 40 students participated in the Quiz in which Sarmand Ismail ,Umaid Farooq Mir and Khushboo Nazir secured first, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.Top 3 students were awarded with appreciation prizes. The aim of this Quiz competition was to prepare the students for future competitive exams. The event was organized by Ms. Muzamil Jan, Asstt. Professor Economics and Mr Basharat Hussain, Assistant Professor Economics.

An awareness programme under the banner of "Vigilance awareness Week" was organised by NSS unit in collaboration with Deptt. of Political Science of Govt. Degree College Bijbehara on 1st November 2021. On the occasion, the worthy Principal Madam Prof. Nighat Fatima deliberated on various ways of corruption and the ways to eradicate this menace. Mr Khursheed Ahmad wani, Assistant Professor, Political Science also delivered a lecture on the Composition, working and Functions of Central Vigilance Commission. The programme was attended by the Faculty Members and the students.

Dear students tomorrow is vaccination drive for 4th sem, batch 2019 and all of you are informed to visist college tomorrow as on 08-09-2021, for on the spot vaccination if u have not been vaccinated yet.
And those of you who have alreday been vaccinated must also come and submitt their vaccination certificates at college and keep one copy of vaccination certificate with you as you may need to produce it at college any time you are asked to produce.
As college is going to shift to offline mode of teaching very soon,so i again requested you to get vaccinated tomorrow if you are yet to take your jab.
