"LAKBAY-AKBAY: Cultivating Bonds for Enhanced Camaraderie"

On April 19, 2024, the Psychology Society's first ever off-campus team-building activity, themed 'Lakbay-Akbay: Cultivating Bonds for Enhanced Camaraderie,' took place at Villa Alfredo's Resort in San Fernando, Pampanga. The team-building aimed to strengthen relationships among students and provide a refreshing break from schoolwork, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

The Psychology Society together with the faculty members of the College of Psychology - Metro Manila College had the privilege of visiting the indigenous tribe in San Mateo, Tungkong Mangga, Norzagaray, Bulacan.

It's a reminder that as individuals, we have the power to make a positive change in the world, one small act at a time.

77th Founding Anniversary of Metro Manila College Inc.: Sustaining Excellence.

To wrap up the celebration of Metro Manila College's 77th Founding Anniversary, themed "MMC: Sustaining Excellence" Here's a glimpse into the memorable moments.

The festivities kicked off with the Cultural Show the Festival of Talents were the stage came alive with the vibrant performances of students displaying their talents on dancing to the three generation of genre. Each act celebrated the rich diversity and creativity within the MMC community, captivating the audience with their passion and skill. Next is the mesmerizing field demonstration performance inspired by the Renaissance era. Psychology majors showcased their talents in dance, music, and crafting, transporting the audience back in time to an age of cultural rebirth and creativity.

The psychology department's "PsychScape" booth was one of a highlight of the event, offering visitors a stimulating array of brainteasers, puzzles, and psychological challenges. Participants engaged in thought-provoking activities designed to test their cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills, creating an immersive experience that showcased the fascinating world of psychology. The campus became a canvas for creativity as students competed in a mural painting contest. Teams unleashed their artistic talents, transforming blank walls into vibrant masterpieces that reflected the theme of sustaining excellence. The colorful murals served as inspiring reminders of the college's commitment to fostering creativity and innovation. Students demonstrated their intellectual prowess in an academic contest that tested their knowledge and critical thinking skills across various disciplines. Participants engaged in friendly competition, showcasing their academic excellence and dedication to learning.

The ROTC unit sponsors, Ms. Princes Lyn De Ocampo and Ms. Blessie Amor Sumalde, along with their escorts Dwaynne Borje, Arnel Lendio Jeanrie Sanchez and usherettes Lady Rey Anne Gabriel and Trisha Nicole Bauzon, led the impressive Military Parade with dignity and pride. Their commitment to service and leadership exemplified the values of discipline and honor instilled with the guidance of ROTC program. The intramurals added excitement and camaraderie to the celebration, with Ms. Trisha Nicole Bauzon and Mr. Dwaynne Borje serving as the representatives of Psychology Department. Also the remarkable performance of the basketball, volleyball and badminton Team further showcased the college's commitment to sporting excellence. We're all proud of you!!

In conclusion, the 77th Founding Anniversary of Metro Manila College was a memorable event that celebrated excellence in academics, arts, sports, and community engagement. The collective efforts of students, faculty, and staff have truly made MMC a beacon of excellence in education.
