This is how “Adopting” works.
The parent posts their graduating 5th grader. You comment “Adopt” to the student you want to adopt, then PM their parent asking what their child’s favorite things are or if they need anything specific for Junior High. Take the parents responses to come up with ideas to make/get them, something small but special; it doesn’t have to be expensive. You can hand deliver or have it mailed to them. It makes the kids feel special and know we, as a community, are thinking of them during this tough time—separated together. ❤️
I created this page so our amazing 5th grader graduates of CES know we care and are proud of their milestone; moving up to Junior High!! Parents please recognize our 5th grade graduates by adopting a 5th grader from CES. Please choose a student to write a letter of encouragement to, or send a card, and purchase a small gift to congratulate this milestone in their academic journey. Thanks for all your support for our quarantined 5th grade graduates!! 🎓
