An Inspirational story of *Never give up!*:
Imtiaz Illahi, an ex-army commando, got his parachute strangled with another trainee while training as a paratrooper and fell to the ground from 200 ft above. The bones of his legs, waist, shoulders, and ankles were smashed into pieces, and his skull was fractured. Imtiaz Illahi lay unconscious on the hospital bed. Gradually, after intensive treatment, he regained consciousness. However, the doctors lost hope that he would ever walk again in life. He was sent home and spent the next three and a half years in the same bed. His wife, Seuty Sabur, took care of the paralyzed Imtiaz Illahi for a long three and a half years. While lying in bed, he always dreamt of walking again, but as each day and each moment passed, the dreams faded away. Days went by, and the situation remained the same. Bedridden Illahi did not lose his dream. He felt the need to get stronger psychologically, as physically he was unable to move. As the days went by, he gradually regained his psychological strength inch by inch. Inch by inch, it grew bigger to a foot, then to a yard, and then to a meter. One fine morning, he sat up on his bed. Eventually, after a long time, he was able to limp to the bathroom on his own, which took a long time from the bed to the bathroom.
Imtiaz Illahi defied all odds, got up, stood up, and at the end, he conquered the Himalayan extreme triathlon. He ran 42 km, cycled 180 km, and swam 3.8 km in the freezing lake of Pokhara, Nepal. He successfully completed the event, competing alongside world-class triathletes from all over the world. He is the living idol of perseverance, persistence, never giving up, and believing that nothing is impossible. To each and every young student of Shaheen, he is an inspiration because he himself is an ex-Shaheen who completed SSC in '92 and HSC in '94. Imtiaz Illahi, a soft-spoken and gentle individual, deserves to be honored by ESAD.

Personal feeling:
Often for many physical and mental injuries we often are hopeless. We say we will never again recover. But, Imtiaz Illahi is a positive minded fighter. Allah never returns His positive minded truthful fighter in barehanded InShaAllah.
Above all, Allah is the only Powerful. Allah is the only Lord of us. Why we will give up being superior as creation to other creations of Allah? Never give up dear!
