What Is Holiness?

Exploring Biblical Holiness

Operating as usual

It’s been said by some that so much of the holiness movement believes and practices “Traditions” rather than actual doctrine. While this is true to some extent, our traditions are part of what’s made us and allowed us to experience such a great move of God throughout the years. You can try to argue against the formula, but you can’t argue with the results.

2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

The Importance Of A Godly Shepard : Many people associate harshness, scare tactics and verbal abuse to holiness Pentecostal preachers. While many pastors from various organizations and denominations use those tactics. A true Shepard leads the flock into the correct ways, he doesn’t beat them into submission. While the calling of a pastor, evangelist or minister may call for times of stern leading and guiding, we must look towards Christ as the example of what true leadership is!

The goal of the minister shouldn’t be to grow “His Ministry” but rather to grow the kingdom of God. The holiness minister should be separated from those of other movements in the fact that, it’s not about us, but rather about him (Jesus)….
