Haltérophilie Chevrier Académie: Empowering the Next Generation of Champions

As a senior Canadian champion, North America champion, and multiple World Master champion in weightlifting, I, Eric Chevrier, have been blessed to achieve greatness in my sport. Now, I want to give back to the younger generation by creating a world-class weightlifting club in Laval, Quebec - Haltérophilie Chevrier Académie.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive weightlifting program that offers both Olympic weightlifting development and strength and conditioning training for athletes to optimize their basic athletic abilities. We aim to foster a culture of excellence and sportsmanship, develop top-notch athletes and coaches, and host international training camps and competitions.

With my international expertise, having worked with over 2,500 athletes, both amateur and professional, including some who have won World Championships and Olympic medals, I am confident that we can develop a new generation of champions. Our club will offer development and formation of elite coaching, allowing athletes to reach their full potential in Olympic weightlifting and other sports with the optimisation of their athletics abilities

To make this vision a reality, we need to raise $1 million in donations to cover the costs of starting up the project efficiently

- Renting and equipping a sports center
- Hiring experienced and complete their formation for coaches and staff
- Developing a comprehensive training program/ technique/periodization
- Providing scholarships and financial assistance to deserving athletes
