Pandemic didn't stop Work Immersion as a must prior to graduation..and, they unselfishly and skillfully made it happen at the bounty of ITVHS. Never say never, kudos to you our dear TVL teachers 😊❤️

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

As we commemorate the sufferings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, may we truly realize the meaning of His coming and the promise that He has for us. Re-examine ourselves.. who is Jesus in us. May we find it in ourselves believing that He is our messiah, our savior, our Lord -our God. Turn away from our sinful nature and follow Him. Yes, it's not that easy, but He came, born in human nature to demonstrate that amidst all sufferings He has overcome the world. He too went through extreme pain and sorrow but He hold on still to fulfill His mission - and that is, for you and for me to be redeemed from the bo***ge of sin that leads man to hell.
So, come my friend let's respond to God's calling. Hold on to His promise of eternal life. We too can overcome the world. He did not remain dead, He is alive! Now He is knocking in our hearts. Shall we let Him in? Let Him live in us ❤️
Happy Easter ❤️

Cultivating culture for the future

Good Day to everyone…

Culture is not a simple thing as what most of the citizens say. Culture is the root of every nation. It gives hope and life in the future of our citizens because as we live, we attain culture. Culture that defines who we are, what we are then and now, how we express ourselves to our province, and to our country.

In our province, our unique cultures are what we cherished and valued the most. Our cultures that creates and shape every citizen’s human experience, the most powerful influencer at all levels around the vision and value of our citizen. In every organization sector either public or private, most successful ones use the strength of culture to create, share learning and form unity across the organization to enhance peace and order inside the sector.

We Ifugao’s have strong culture relation, we feature our beliefs, behavioral rules, traditions and rituals in public displays hoping that our fellow citizens can use these elements for decision making throughout their life inside any organization they are involve in. Ifugao does not need one strong leader, it needs more than one strong leader who articulates beliefs, rules, traditions and rituals that are aligned with citizen needs, strategic direction, and competitive environments. Organizational commitment to operating its business as directed by our culture. Unfaltering commitment by the organization to support its key stakeholders and by extension of the community, society, and environment.

With our strong culture, we lend ourselves to high performances, we tend to establish an environment where we have our own constructive pressure to perform. With the use of ceremonies, symbols, languages, behavioral rules and policies, we produce extraordinary performance from ordinary people. We use ceremonies and symbols to emphasize our value, to help recognize, celebrate, and create emotional bond among all people in our province. Languages that are used in slogans and policies help illustrate our primary values and provide understanding among our citizens.

In our province, ‘kinship’ is one that we value the most. It is in our blood; we were able to display concern and love for our fellows in need and help them in variety of ways. We treat each other with dignity and respect, granting each other with enough autonomy to excel and contribute to the manpower of our country. We tend to create an atmosphere where there is constructive pressure to be the best through pursuing practices and policies that invest necessary resources to inspire people to do their best.

Amidst of COVID pandemic, adapting our behaviors and perceptions to cultural differences in our society has been hard as swallowing a rock. But working for our future in this diverse environment offers many opportunities for our personal and professional growth. Now, everyone especially the students are learning and adapting to a whole new set of circumstance such as online leaning and other matters.
At this point in any circumstances, unrecognized cultural differences either inside or outside institutions may result in underlying tension, unresolved conflicts, and can miss the opportunity to make the best use of each person’s talents and insights. We cannot lie that this pandemic had really affected us, especially in our role being the youths to widespread our culture and to make our foundation stronger. To forego our cultural understanding, our intercultural competence should begin with understanding of our own cultural framework. We should not overlook on our differences, instead we look deeper into our commonalities when encountering differences, for us to get along with each other and that is a good start. It is also everyone’s responsibility to adapt to difference, sometimes assumptions to what will happen in the future hinders a person to adapt and take risk of what is happening in the present time. It is every individual’s weakness that needs to be strengthen, with the advices and the things that are shown in our environment, these weaknesses will slowly turn to strength that is beneficial to the society and to the human person himself.

Often time a person over-estimate his/her intercultural competence and avoids interacting with everyone, afraid that he/she may over-look and hurt someone. To the fact that everyone is born different from one another is a fact that every individual must admit and be open about. Now, it is your own strategy to behave in a culturally respectful manner.
The speed of change in the tech industry requires constant upskilling and manpower demand from the employees enable accelerate in their professional growth while traditional efforts in supporting employee’s growth focus on the individual, a culture of cultivation accelerates employee’s growth by emphasizing collective learning. Cultivating culture is the collective responsibility to grow each other, to share knowledge, to teach, so as a collective we can be more impactful. While the most common definition of cultivation refers to the action of cultivating land, we use this terminology to refer to a culture of collective learning that focuses on growing people and enabling them to fulfill our vision.

Youths of this generation should have the mindset towards upskilling individuals to develop the capabilities required for cultivating others. In this way, we make change sustainable, to sustain the cultural change in the long run. It is our responsibility as the youth to be aware of our culture, adapt to the culture, and spread the culture. Because in the future, we will be held accountable of our actions and decisions, if the future generations know nothing about our culture.
