I am a Math Tutor for hire based in Abatan, Bauko, with five years of experience in teaching Mathematics. Through my tenure, I have identified that many students face challenges in Math due to lack of confidence, insufficient understanding of mathematical language, and weak grasp of foundational concepts.

The recent pandemic pa worsen these issues by causing significant learning disruptions and widening knowledge gaps. So idi sinmubli han kananda da ay "new normal", we, classroom teachers really had a lot of catching up to do. We spent more time reviewing prerequisites than going over the actual lesson. 1 hour session a day for Mathematics was not enough. Kaya loding lodi ko nalang talaga ang ibang math teachers na nakakayang i-tackle lahat ng required learning competencies sa buong school year.

Sooooooo, my role here is to address these gaps and support student/s in building a strong foundation in math, ensuring they can progress effectively and confidently.
....and don't worry, I'm very much familiar with the high school math curriculum 😉
