Happy Independence Day!

Many of my Colombian students are rooting for Colombia in the America's Cup Tournament. I don't have many Brazilians at the moment. In all the excitement, English lessons seem to be on hold, so I'll join in a bit. May the best team win!

I'll add something I learned from Ted Lasso: exhibition games in soccer are called "friendlies." Now you know. You can cite Ted Lasso on this.
