A Kiwi mother fled New Zealand with her three young children while her husband was at work, to get away from a marriage punctuated by abuse.

But she has now been ordered to return her tamariki to their father - despite an Australian judge conceding he had exposed them to family violence.

PERMANENT SECRETARY ALI MEETS FIJI WATER AND THE WONDERFUL COMPANY OFFICIALS

The Permanent Secretary for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Mr Shaheen Ali along with the Investment Fiji Chief Executive, Mr Kamal Chetty and Fiji's Trade Commissioner to North America, Mr Alika Cooper met with the team from Fiji Water and The Wonderful Company who is in the country exploring opportunities for commercial agriculture in Fiji.

During the meeting, discussions were made in the areas of interest the Fiji Water team is exploring for commercial agriculture in Fiji.

The Ministry, along with Investment Fiji and partners have been supporting the Fiji Water team prior to this scoping mission, and will continue to work on supporting investors who are exploring commercial agriculture initiatives, and other investment initiatives in Fiji.

This is part of the Fiji Government's initiative to diversify the economy and support investors that are exploring new and exciting initiatives.
