Four Presidents Were Cheerleaders
Franklin D. Roosevelt (Harvard College), Dwight D. Eisenhower (West Point), Ronald Reagan (Eureka College) and George W. Bush (Phillips Academy) were former cheerleaders at their schools who worked their way to the White House. Their cheering spanned from the 1900s to the 1960s. Go Team America!

PAWS UP ELECTRA!!!! You will find this team at almost every sporting event cheering the Tiger and Lady Tigers to victory. Now you have a chance to come cheer for them! Make plans to go and support your EHS Cheerleaders as they compete at the UIL State Cheer Competition! They will compete at 8:41a.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center Exhibit Hall on Thursday, January 4th!! I know it’s super early but they receive points for crowd participation so come out, get your paws up & cheer them on!! 🐾 ⬆️ 🐅 📣

The EHS Varsity Cheerleaders will be having two showcases this week! Your first chance to watch their UIL competition routine will be tomorrow night during halftime of the Varsity Boys basketball game!

Traveling downtown from the Police Station, turning left at the Lynn Event Center, straight to Allsup’s and head out of town on 25 past Conoco and Sonic! We want to extend our sincerest thank you to the entire EHS campus community for another successful Homecoming week celebration.

It was a packed week full of excitement, entertainment and fun for EHS students, staff, faculty and alumni. Thank you to each of you who played a role in the planning and ex*****on throughout the week. We all enjoyed a welcoming and fun environment because of the commitment and dedication of the EHS staff and volunteers.

Electra Tigers- You played your hearts out Friday night. What an exciting Homecoming game! We love cheering on the sidelines for our boys! 🐾
