Wives of Medical and Graduate School Students

Creating a space for wives and mothers pursuing higher education or supporting a spouse in school.

Operating as usual

I keep homeschooling open-ended.

My young five year old pulled "The Young People's Atlas of the United States" off the shelf.

The first state was Alabama.

On that same page, it talked about Helen Keller. Because of this, we went to the library and found some books about her.

It has been so inspiring, even to my little kids, to see how someone who was blind and deaf did so much good in her life.

She lifted others who became blind and deaf because of the war.

She got awards for working hard.

How much good can we do with our gifts?

When we are too regimented in our day, it can prevent the learning that flourishes from daily questions.

It's time.

It's time to open up the conversation.

To you mothers in school.

To those who are supporting a spouse in higher education.

My gift to you is creating a space to talk about the in between.

The real.

Advice. A listening ear.

I hear you.

I am on a mission to answer the unanswered questions. To listen. To push for change and help necessary where you're at.

Welcome to this new page; a space for women in graduate school or supporting a spouse in school. I am grateful that you found me! I am on a mission to open up the conversation around higher education for families. So many times there is a white coat ceremony (or something similar), and not a lot of support in between that moment and graduation. I want to change that. Join me on a journey to improve the lives of students and families!
