Our teacher training sessions are just one of the many perks of being part of Knitting For All - some members have been with us for over 10 years!
Earlier this month we had the wonderful Gilli Sealey delivering a masterclass on ‘The Power of List Journaling for your Creative Business’
This was an excellent session and is available to our knitting teachers to rewatch or watch on catchup any time they need it, as it forms part of their membership. More information found here - https://www.knittingforall.com/join-the-membership
We loved having Gill in as our guest and thought she was a great fit for our community! Thanks again to Gill.
Knitting gives young minds a fantastic cognitive workout!
Reading and interpreting patterns engage the brain, strengthening problem - solving skills and spatial awareness.
It also helps children learn to plan ahead, stay organised, and follow step-by-step instructions - valuable skills that carry over into school and everyday life.
What other benefits do you think knitting brings to kids? Let us know in the comments! ⬇️💬
Next week our founder, Kerry Kimber, will be running live online training exclusively for our Knitting For All members.
Kerry regularly hosts these sessions and this time she’ll be delivering 'How to Teach Fair Isle'.

Another reason knitting is great for kids is creativity and self-expression.
Knitting provides an artistic outlet for children to express themselves.
Choosing colours, textures, and patterns allows them to unleash their creativity and develop a sense of personal style.
This creative freedom helps build confidence as children take pride in their unique creations.
What other benefits of knitting for kids can you think of?
What do the numbers on a dice add up to?
What do the opposite sides of a dice add up to?
These are questions you can ask while teaching kids to knit dice in your very own knitting business.
At Knitting For All we help with the business side and you do what you love to do - teach knitting.
It means you have a flexible business around your life doing something you love. You choose your hours and keep the money you make.
Becoming a teacher with us is simple - it’s £27pm, and you can cancel anytime. Use this link and follow in the footsteps of others just like you: https://www.knittingforall.com/join-the-membership
There’s a community too. Somewhere to get advice and support others on their business journey.
In case the kids can’t tell you the answers, the numbers on a dice all add up to 21 and the opposite sides always add up to seven. Hope to see you in the Knitting For All membership soon!
Hello - I’m Kerry Kimber, and my mission is to inspire the world to knit!
To achieve this, I wear a couple of different hats…
First up, I’m Creative Learning Manager at Rowan Yarns. This is an exciting and dynamic role where I work with the world’s best designers and tutors to create virtual events, short courses and knit alongs for the Rowan Connect Community.
And secondly, I am the Founder of Knitting For All, a business that supports people to launch and grow their own small business teaching knitting and crochet classes in their local area. I provide regular training and arrange virtual meet-ups for our teachers who are spread across the globe. It’s an inspiring community of dedicated knitting and crochet teachers who just love to share their skills - and earn a living from it too!

We love when the Kids Knit parents give us feedback like this!
Great to hear their son has been coming to classes for 2 years, children love to learn to knit!
Thank you for the feedback, from Knitting For All 🙏🏼
We are delighted to be welcoming Gilli Sealey to deliver some coaching to our Knitting For All membership next week.
We regularly hold external training sessions for our knitting teachers and this time the topic is ‘The Power of List Journaling for your Creative Business’.
Gill was a teacher for 20 years, primary school and post-graduate, and also taught weaving and crochet for many years. She is now a business coach, journaling enthusiast, and co-founder of three creative businesses. With over 13 years of experience running small businesses, including a craft-selling venture, she now helps neurodivergent and creative entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses that work with their unique brains. Passionate about simplifying the messy middle of running a business, she also runs Doodle and Dash, a low-pressure journaling membership designed to inspire and organise creatives. When not working, you’ll find her exploring new craft projects or planning her dream move to Northumberland.
If you are considering joining us at Knitting For All there is still time to sign up and see Gill live. Use this link today - https://www.knittingforall.com/join-the-membership
