I see you sneak out of the conversation when all your friends boast about achievements and exam notes.

I see you juggle events and meetings.

I see you sitting on the computer for hours investigating what your child needs.

I see you make a bad face when people complain about what looks like nonsense.

I see you disappear little by little but you keep going beyond for your family.

I see you pull strength from weakness with a force you didn't even dream you had.

I see you showing respect for teachers, therapists and medical professionals who help your child and help you.

Watching you wake up early in the morning to do it all again after another chaotic night.

I see you when you're on the edge of the precipice struggling to live.

I know you feel invisible, like no one notices.
But I want you to know that I see you.

I see you push forward always. I see you choose to do everything you can to give your child the best care at home, school, therapy and the doctors.
What you do matters. It's worth the struggle.

On those days when you wonder if you can make it one more minute, I want you to know I see you.

I want you to know that you are beautiful.
I want you to know it's worth it. I want you to know that you are not alone. I want you to know that love is the most important thing, and that you are the best at it.

Part of our lockdown routine has been feeding the birds. Miss Monkey loves pouring things so she loves doing this, and Mr Monster loves birds so really enjoys watching then come and go and jump around. Homemade bird table, next D.I.Y task bird bath.

life in our house so far this morning.

Wake up call at 5.30 being rudely awaken by my phone being shoved in my face by Chloe and apparently I have turned in to the latest mountain Max is Climbing.

Breakfast time Max decideds he would rather wear his choc pancakes than eat them.

Nappy change and getting dressed took me 30 minutes, Chloe didn't want any of it to happen so screamed at me through the whole process, Max seems to think he is on a push bike when he is having a nappy change constantly kicking me and wriggling away when I am trying to get him dressed.

Chloe and I sit down with her communication board and sing the hello song to pictures of all her classmates.

Chloe now picks her first activity for the day (suprise suprise it's the tablet) so looking forward to the melt down when it comes time to put that away🤦‍♀️

Finally get the chance to have breakfast and coffee, just finish preparing it when Max appears smothered in Poo yes poo, we have had a explosion of poo in the house and its everywhere so what have I done for the last hour, Clean up s**t! now it's all I can smell I cant stomach my breakfast! it's only 9.30 and i am so done already.

Today is autism awareness day, so let's see you beautiful children with autism, here are my 2. I love them with every fibre of my being. ❤❤❤❤ Claire

So Its miss Monkeys birthday on friday and as seeing any family or friends is a no go and going out is a no go, we have decided to try and get as many people who live near us, to sing from their windows or gardens Happy birthday to our beautiful girl, she doesn't understand what's going on in the world at the moment. The response we have had has been amazing, so I am going to either record it or do a facebook live, I'm so excited and I cant wait to see Monkeys face. 😍😍

When you sick of picking up ball pit balls from all round the house so you decide they need a new home, Kids absolutely love it

In these times of worry and uncertainty, let's all do what we can to help slow the spread of this disease, giving the scientists and healthcare staff time to research and find a means of testing and treating, we all have our part to play. Stay safe everyone and we are still here and you will find us posting a bit more in the next few weeks.

my work station for the day, PECS symbols, laminator, cutter, printer and laptop, the only thing I am missing is velcro, but it's on order and arriving tomorrow. Anyone else spend hours doing things like this? (Claire 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦)
