Hey everyone!
We hope everyone is safe and recovering from Hurricanes Helene and Milton and we are sending hopeful thoughts to everyone impacted.
Due to Hurricane Milton, we are not quite ready to release Week 3 of Macro Month - our Fall Newsletter! Please stay tuned for our official release and we will keep you all updated.
In the meantime, please join us in getting ready for Week 4 of Macro Month - Macro Careers Panel!
We will be joined by three amazing macro social work panelists: Robyn Blank, Daniel Medrano, and Amanda Ingrassia. You can learn more about them on slide two!
On Monday, October 21 at 4:30, join us in UCC 1703 or on Zoom to hear from our incredible panelists and ask questions of your own!
We hope to see you there! Happy Macro Month!
Hello!
We had so much fun yesterday getting to know you and what inspires you to vote!
We wanted to share a guide to the Amendments on the Florida Ballot this election! Sometimes they can be difficult to understand, so we hope this guide can be helpful!
Macro Social Work Student Network at FSU
We look forward to working with our peers to create connections between students, professionals, and alumni within the macro social work field through monthly events. We will be working with a diverse range of professionals who specialize in leadership, advocacy, and community organizing to provide opportunities for networking, education, and professional development. We will also prioritize maintaining relationships with professionals and community organizations that work to promote diversity and advocate for marginalized populations. Finally, we’ll be working with faculty and staff to promote the social leadership concentration on FSU’s campus and within the Tallahassee community.
