📣📣 NEWS 📣📣
Hi everyone! 😀
The Clodiagh Player’s are holding a Variety Show at the end of November/start of December in the Parish Hall Clonaslee.
We would love if any child/children that took part in our Drama Camp this year to join us for our Variety Show.
Rehearsals are going to start soon and will take place twice a week at the start (one evening during the week and a Saturday/Sunday morning). This is a fantastic opportunity for children to take part in a big production like this.
If you would like your child/children to take part in the Variety Show, please message us on this page and we will give you more info!
Thanks everyone 😀

🌟Frequently Asked Questions about Camp🌟
What is it? - a subsidized camp centred around drama and art, for 4-14 year olds, finishing in a show and exhibition for family and friends.
How long is the camp?: the camp is 8 days long, starts on the 25th of July, running from 10am -2pm daily. we take a break for the weekend, resuming Monday running until the 3rd of august.
Is there a show? yes! The show is a massive part of our camp as it gives our campers a chance to show off their skills learned during the week. The show will be on in the evening of the last day of camp (3rd of august), and you can bring along as many friends and family as you like. There will be a small fee at the door, which assists with subsidization of the camp.
How is the camp subsidized? We are able to vastly bring down the cost of camp fees through fundraising (our pub quiz and raffles) and ticket sales to our final showcase. This ensures a cost-effective camp fee for parents.
Who is running it? The camp is ran by a local team of vetted Teachers, Student teachers and childcare specialists, who volunteer their time. Our three Camp managers, Zara Owens, Dawn Flynn and Sarah Egan, lead the team and organise the camp annually. With Zara's years of childcare experience, Dawn's qualifications and expertise as a primary school and SEN teacher, and Sarah's 10th year running and teaching drama at the camp; our campers are in safe hands.
Why should I send my child? - Just ask the parents who sent their child last year! We often hear feedback from parents on how their child's confidence improved vastly, they made new friends, learned new skills and have found a new hobby where they feel safe, valued and included.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have!
