It was chaotic and messy, a million mistakes were made on my part, and I left in tears… because it was the best first day I’ve ever had in my career as a teacher. Maybe I’m emotional because of the PPD that I’m still working through or maybe it’s because I’ve found exactly where I’m supposed to be. All I know is that the tears streaming down my face are happy for the first time in a long time. As a crier, that’s a huge win. I will always keep it real, but I’m relieved that my ✨reality✨ in education, right now, is finally positive because it hasn’t been in years. 🥲❤️🫶🏼
