Here's a testimonial from the airport. This is huge for me. I used to be scared to travel! I didn't even know where this journey would bring me, and it's so good. How To Archetype Vegas.....gross.
I am currently at the International Foundations of Healthcare conference in Vegas receiving an award "Top 100 Innovators in Healthcare" (thankyouthankyou)
BUT... with all of the flesh pressing, smiley gladhand, fake ass intros, I have made this morning there were 3 amazing ones...In the elevator... on the way to my room.
Away from the conference hall and casino and dreadful hope that the flashing lights and thin smiles promise. This rancid peanut in the bottom of the jar, the last bite ruining the salty taste of want and desperation. Careful lips burned with coffee, early morning stale thoughts of regret.

Yet, amidst all the clanging chaos, there too, is Divinity. (If it isn't there...where do you expect to find it?) In the moment of quiet elevator rides my Jester took over and started conversations with strangers and ultimately the question "What do you do?" came up and my Wizard ran to the file cabinet and pulled out the trusty elevator pitch and handed the script to the Bard.
..30 seconds later, I was typing my info into a financier's Phone...Then exchanging contact info with the Director of Political Action for the Chicago Fire Fighters Union...and now about to answer an email to the President of the American Martial Arts Association.
READ THAT LAST ONE AGAIN
In the fu***ng elevator.
Now the Warrior. Get over your hesitation and DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
Kings and Queens, the real question is...are you doing this ON PURPOSE?

PS, good lord this speech I am listening to (remote patient monitoring) is dreadful. Everyone needs to learn how to present from the stage. Hint #1- lose the PowerPoint. It's so 90's. And stupid. And boring. And stupid.
