Mapping Dinosaur Fossils from Dig to Display The Earth Sciences Foundation is creating a real-time map of dinosaur bone locations with RFID tagging and GIS mapping.
Sadly another one bites the dust. Approximately a one meter trail of busted up broken bone. Scenes like this are common lately. Getting there too late, maybe? We can try to save it. Collecting what we can and screening the area for more fragments to help reassemble it. Who knows what this may become. Interested in helping? Let us know at our website or message us here.
Happy Fossil Friday Everybody! A follow up to a previous post. Here is more of the ribs from this beautiful animal eroding away. We need to save these before they are gone forever.
Another example of why we need to keep doing the work that we do. This poor rib is beyond saving. Sorry rib, we should have got here sooner.
Here is a poor Edmontosaurus Vert. This is why we do what we do. We have an obligation to save these one-of-a-kind fossils. Each is unique and has its own story.
Another piece of a Pachy jugal. Have great friday everyone.

What do we have here? A braincase from an Edmontosaurus. Sorry Melany Hysert I couldn't find any good pictures of Ceratopsian specimens, but I am working on it for you.
That enamel is amazing. What a beauty. Any ideas for next weeks post? Can't guarantee I can do it but I will try. Let me know what you would like to see and if I have it I will post it. Thank you. If I don't have it go to our website and donate so we can get more people, especially kids, out digging and maybe we can find it.

A beautiful Pachy dome on display at the Museum of Discovery at Sheridan College. Looks like our Directors head. If you know you know.
Here is a partial Crocodilian jaw. You can really see the tooth sockets in this small fossil. Found in the Hell Creek formation in southeast Montana.
Partial Pachycephalosaurs jugal. Not sure what that is? Send us a message with your question and we will try to answer it.
