Getting to be the one that gets cutie off the bus every day is one of the best perks of teaching from home ❤️.

Moving the “play kitchen” in to the “real kitchen” has been a game changer! He loves cooking while I’m busy making dinner And the teacher mama/special needs mama in me loves knowing he is getting some speech/vocab practice, encouraging some food exploration, doing some important pretend play…all while getting dinner prepped. Winning!!

Big news!!! I am so excited to now be teaching with BILINGUAL BRIDGES ! The BB team had a heart for adding ASL to their amazing course offerings….and I jumped at the chance to work with this awesome company. I’ll be teaching ASL, ESL, language arts reading and writing on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Come find me on the website - link in profile.

Storytime is one of my favorite times of day with my little guy. Here is how I am making it mean even more.

During this busy time of year I want to try to streamline / recommit to some of my household systems that really do make life easier when I do them. This one is really helping lately so I thought I would share it with you. What household system do you fall back on when things get crazy?

This is your Christmas Check-in…
Are you staying MERRY or GOING MAD?

It’s about this time every year that I start to go from merry to really feeling the stress. This year I have worked hard to manage personal expeditions, cut the list to just the most meaningful, and make room for margin in my days. What are you doing to stay merry?

🎅🏻Santa hand: model magic is the best! Then just outline and color with sharpies or pasca pens

🎄handprint ball : cover hand in white paint and then slowly close hand around ball and then open.

❤️reindeer tile: use small kitchen tile and brown paint to put thumbprint on tile. Use sharpie to draw features. Spray with sealer. Attach ribbon with hot glue.

🎁 reindeer handprint : brown paint and white card stock for the handprint. Sharpie for the features, red paint Pom nose. Laminate for a long lasting keepsake.
