We don't have any idea about how many fake copies we might have already bought by visiting the bookstores and ordering them online.
Thank You Shristi for sharing this critical information.

BP KOIRALA is a writer who has written stories and novel way ahead of his time. And that statement is absolutely true. Yes at times some of his books are so questionable. But I won't complain about the author's writing style because he simply represented how the then society used to treat woman. He just articulated the society's perspective of those old historical days in his stories.
So with that idea, I must say BP is a phenomenal writer. I would request all Nepali Readers to read his books. And please don't judge the Author by reading a single novel.
The More books of BP KOIRALA I read the more I think,
why is he not remembered as the famous Writer like he is renounced in Politics.
Sixth Book of BP KOIRALA. Two more to go.
Let's start the day talking about choosing Native Literatures.
I love Reading good books written in our native language. I choose books written in Nepali Language because I love exploring the history and surrounding the authors portray in their Novels. I love to picturize those old village, sweet childhood, painful stories in different societies. All those things that exist are our history. That was how we lived back then. Most of the Nepali stories and novels are of villages and people living there. Few stories are about cities such as Kathmandu and it's surrounding or some male who returns back from abroad or never returns home. There are few stories written which talk about the insurgency period too.
While I love to explore what international authors have to offer, I also want to explore how the scene of Nepali literature has been evolving. Although, we don't have authors who have written dozens of extraordinary Literatures. But we have many authors who have written a couple of books and they are fascinating literatures.
There are a few Nepali authors whose books I have read in the past. Authors like Narayan Wagle, Buddhisagar, B.P KOIRALA, Parijat, Bhupi Serchan, Amar Neupane, Karna Shakya, Krishna Dharabasi, etc. And there are autobiographies of people from diverse arenas.
In today's post I want to know:
: What are the reasons to choose and not to choose the literatures written in your native Language?
Among total books I have read, about 25% of them are Nepali Novels. What about yours?

📚 Freedom From the Known, J. Krishnamurti
This book is a capsule which is filled with the combination of different drugs which helps to understand life, love, relationship, living, joy, acceptance, fear and many other topics. But this is a single capsule. Some people are easily cured even with a single capsule but some need to take the same capsule a number of times. So you can either re-read it or go through other books of Krishnamurti.
After going through this book, now I want to read another book of him to understand more about the author and his perspective about life and living.
This book was my birthday gift from my brother Shubham.( )
: Have you ever been gifted books on your special day?
If yes, than you are lucky. You are among right people. Never loose their company.

Added two of my books "Ignited Minds" and "Diary of a Young Girl" to my stack. I read them last year and I got it back today from a friend. So this librarian thought of rearranging the books 😁

📙Rukmangad Katwal, Autobiography
📚12/20
When I knew there is such things as Army Chief, Rukmangad Katwal was the name I heard as the Senapati, Chief of Army of Neapl. I had read about him, how King brought him to KTM when he was a child. Back then this was the story I heard: During King's Visit to Eastern region King brought him together when he was wearing Underwear (Katti,कट्टु).
But that's not the story. The story was different, The surname Katwal is linked with his lineage since the era of Prithivinarayan Shah. To know the exact story you must give it a try.
I am little bit interested in country's politics and the Royal Massacre had happened when I was a kid. I remember that buzz sound on my Black and White TV, senior uncles in my village going bald to pay the condolences. I even participated in a Protest Rally in my village where my uncles were speaking the slogans against the Last Monarch Gyanendra(riding in the back of a truck).
So my curiosity of reading this book was to see if I could find something new. And definitely got to knew a few drops about the characters involved in the Massacre.
Well nobody writes I am a Bad guy on their own but so far from what I read from this book, he was a deserving Chief of our country who dedicated days and nights to protect the construction, sovereignty, and life of Nepali citizens during his service.
What a great personality. Ambitious, down to earth, man of self respect and dignity. And a man with strong fate. So happy that I read this book.
Also he is the first Normal Neapli citizen who didn't belong to Shah, or Rana family and became the Chief of Army.
Also this gentleman took me to the east and west of Nepal in different timeframe via his book.
In such a rotten world only book will save us.
So Read.

📍Digital Fortress, Dan Brown
Dan Brown never fails to give chills with his suspense stories. So Any books of Dan Brown you will start to read, you will love the author. I started my Dan Brown Journey with Deception Point. I bought it from a Second Hand Bookstore locate behind Dharahara in an isle. The Journey so far reading Dan Brown books has been a wonderful adventure. Traveling sometimes to Europe, sometime to the USA and sometimes at the mountain of Ice blocks in Antarctic, that's another interesting thing about his books.
If you start with Digital Fortress as your first book of Dan Brown than you are definitely gonna love it. But after completing almost every books (except Inferno) the story here in Digital Fortress was comparitively less appealing. I'm not saying it wasn't interesting. It definitely was interesting. But being a student of computer science reading a novel which again had those logics of cryptography sometimes distracted my focus.
For me personally Digits Fortress was an Average book from Dan Brown. But if I have to rate it overall, it's a 7/10 above average story.
Tell me how did you find Digital Fortress below.
📚
Want to make this bookshelf someday 😍
How are you spending your lockdown period?
Me: Shuffling the books on my bookshelf and trying to make it look nice. Because that's the only corner clean in my room 😁
If you feel like sharing your bookshelf/bookstack pictures than please count me in. I love to check new books and add them to my BTR list(vyary vyary long list actually 😁)
PS: The last photo is from 2017 when I had few books and I used to keep them inside my drawer
@ Banepa
1) Deadline Chomolungma 📚9/20
Chomolungma is Tibetan name of My. Everest. This book is a journey of a Sherpa Journalist who climbed Mt. Everest on a single attempt, with years of determination, training and hard work.
2) Choice of Book
As I was strolling the bookstore, I saw this one and being a traveler reading, hearing and watching travel experiences makes me feel like I am traveling together with that individual, living the same moment.
Also from now on I will add such travel logs and stories in my BTR list. Because there are hundreds of sweet, weird as well as surprising experiences hidden in those pages. Definitely climbing mountain is just a dream for many of us. But why not live the experiences with such experiences?
3)The Background
My mother turned 51 today. I already have a White Rose planted in my home. But I was thinking about planting a Red one too. So one more plant in home celebrating her birthday by planting a new flower would be awesome, isn't it? (She doesn't know I did it for her birthday) She actually helped me while planting the Red Rose. But from now on whenever we will spend time in our terrace we will talk about this plant and how old it is😊. Then it will make her realize this day. Happy Birthday माते 🙏🙏
4) A Question to the readers.
If you read all the comments this far thank you 😊. One though I wanted to share with you. Should I share posts about the plants I have planted in my home and the plants which I will be adding in near future? The Books and Plants fusion, would it look good?

When people living with luxury say life is so hard for not being able to get something more fancier, I say learn from people who lived their entire life in misery. I recommend those people to read Jiwan Kada ki Phool.
I read this book maybe back in 2015🤔. This book is so far the best when it comes to learning from a real life struggler.
Keep the war time novels aside this is a real life war!

Saw this on Milan Dai's story and couldn't help myself from sharing this. This lockdown I planted 11 plants and after that my mother bought 5 more pots. So all total this year we have 16new plants. 9 of them are gonna take atleast two years to grow big and bloom. But the bright side is seeing them grow every single day 😍
I love them, water them and spent little time early morning I wake up, and during the evening. Watching plants grow for me gives equal joy watching a hungry soul being fed.
If you read all this long texts, lastly please Plant atleast one plant. That's where we begin with 🙏
Currently, I am lost into the story where Robert Langdon is trying to solve a great mystery which starts with symbols.
DAN BROWN never fails to amuse us with brilliant suspense stories.
