In order to bring about calm & safe in a heightened moment, a dysregulated child needs support from a regulated adult. Are we the right person at that time? Our own emotional awareness is paramount for a positive outcome.

We are pleased to announce we will be having our first Train the Trainer in the UAE on the 30th of May 2022.

The foundation of our training is 95% understanding and de-escalation, with only 5% focused on any physical intervention and only when risk is assessed as necessary.

We focus on de-escalation and communication to ensure challenging behaviours are transformed into positive outcomes without physical intervention.

We believe it is essential to understand that Behaviour is Communication, know what is being communicated and how to de-escalate situations and support children in the best way possible.

What will you learn in this 5 day course?

•How to support the development of a greater team dynamic in supporting distressed individuals with approaches that impact and strengthen relationships.
•How to support the journey of becoming a confident and competent trainer to deliver to colleagues.
• How to increase understanding and awareness of behaviour as communication and develop a framework to respond better to reduce risk.
• You will have access to our training area for ongoing support.
•You will be offered flexibility to your organisation to train when and where needed.

To book this training, please call Dan Chesterman on +44 7936 370470.

This Children’s Mental Health Week,
Let’s talk about ANXIETY.

Normally, there’s a specific reason why children feel anxious.

• School work
• Exam pressure
• Moving schools
• Life changes

Do:
• Talk to them about what you’ve noticed
• Show them you understand how they’re feeling
• Stay calm

Focus on how they’re dealing with this difficult emotion. Show them it’s natural to feel anxious during stressful times. We can overcome this feeling.

You might say, “I know you were feeling anxious about the exam today, and I’m so proud of the way you went in with confidence this morning.”

Happy Holidays to all our Facebook followers!

We appreciate your support and recognition of the positive change we continue to bring to education and health and social care settings.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our trainers and internal staff who have worked extremely hard this year in very unpredictable circumstances; we feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such an optimistic, flexible and committed team.

Best wishes,
Team Teach
