"The kid with the blue inhaler"
Growing up, I wasnโt always 'in' fitness.
In fact, I actively avoided it for most of my life because of how it always seemed to trigger my asthma. Plenty of steroids and hospital visits didnโt stop it. Cold drinks, cold air, pollen, dustโฆ Iโd always be reaching for that blue inhaler at the bottom of my bag.
Pair that with undiagnosed anxiety, dyslexia, possible ADD, bullying and being a massive introvert, and life felt pretty overwhelming.
Academia was hard. Not really having any friends was harder.
Honestly, no one was to blame here, it's just what it was.
The world seemed so difficult, and it shattered my self-esteem more times than I can count.
I grew up in a society where people werenโt open about their struggles. The level of support we have today simply didnโt exist back then.
For many years I learned to neglect and actively dismiss my own difficulties.
Fast forward to today, and I feel so fortunate to have found and followed my vocation.
Now I've CREATED...

๐ฅ Strength & Stamina
๐ฅ The physique of dreams!
๐ฅ A voice that inspires entire audiences
๐ฅ The most fulfilling job I could EVER ask for!

The fitness industry is messed up right now.
Everyone's chasing viral fame and forgetting why they started (to cut through the BS)...
So, let's get real:
โ You don't really want a six-pack.
โ You don't need to be "shredded."
โ You don't want to be the thinnest ever.
What you actually want is balance, to feel better, ditch the guilt, boost your self-esteem and actually have the energy, health and wellness to start thriving in life.

, came to me wanting to lose weight and get fitter.
She had tried intermittent fasting and other methods but found them unsustainable long-term.
She was also dealing with severe shoulder and nerve pain and only had 30 minutes a week to exercise since she needed to be there for her son between work and sleep.
She was feeling really frustrated and needed a fresh approach.
When Anila joined Power Project, I knew we had to do things differently. I didn't want to just hand her a quick fix or a generic plan. Instead, I gave her the tools and steps for lasting change.
Here's what we did...
๐ Set specific, achievable goals
๐ Taught her how to track her food intake and make healthy choices
๐ Found creative ways to fit physical activity into her busy daily routine
But it wasnโt just about the numbers on the scale. I encouraged her to focus on how she felt. It wasn't always easy or straightforward, it's a journey, and itโs important to be kind to yourself along the way.
After following my program Anila...
๐ Lost 7KG, 6" off her hip & waist and felt more energized
๐ Gained confidence and felt proud of herself
๐ Started to enjoy working out and eating healthy without the restrictions
๐ Learnt first hand that sustainable weight loss is about identifying and making small, consistent changes over time.

Itโs kind of like signing up to the gym for the first time.
You know exercise is going to help you feel better, you want that movement to change your

Energy levels

Outlook on life
You KNOW those pushes are good for you, but that doesnโt make it any easier to actually BUILD that new habit.
So how do you start something youโve never done before?
One step at a time.
You donโt have to dive in head-first either.
You can slowly move out of your safety zone step by step.
Maybe today itโs just putting on your gym clothes and doing stretches for 5 minutes.
Thatโs it.
Maybe tomorrow you put on your gym clothes, go outside and walk for 15 minutes.
And thatโs it.
So if you've got a busy-as-hell week ahead of you...improve it! - Even if it's measly 1%.
Give yourself opportunities to ACHIEVE.
Do this each week as an absolute minimum and you WILL see your progress compound.

I havenโt been completely transparent about my pastโฆ
As a child, I was that kid with the blue inhaler (You know the one). I always felt weak, vulnerable and frankly scared of talking to anyone let alone reaching out for help.
On the surface, cold air, the outdoors, even just brisk walking would trigger my wheezing in between the anaemia and dizzy spells. It wasn't just the physical struggle; the emotional toll of small things like ALWAYS being picked last in PE was a constant reminder.
It was EMBARRASSING! It didnโt do any favours for my already low self-esteem.
Growing up, I saw physical and mental health difficulties in close family but noticeably the lack of support. Later in life, with a first degree, and a job I was great at, I found myself in a severely draining relationship. Battling years of frequent anxiety attacks, and losing sight of my hobbies and passions. It felt like I was fading away, my motivation and self-identity slipping through my fingers.
This was my darkest time, a period of my life. The worst part is, no one really knew.
Iโm sorry it took so long to admit but honestly - Aside from being a painful part of my life, I was embarrassed to share this.
I mean HOW could someone who wanted to stand as a pillar of health and fitness have been so lost??
The turning point came with the lockdown. It forced me to confront my past and my struggles. I began sharing my story online, and the response was crazy!
ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH!
I left my full-time job, bid farewell to my life in Central London, and fully embraced my role as a health coach.
My mission became clear... To cut through the online noise and myths about health and fitness. I became committed to my OWN health and fitness and expanding it to the world around me.
I saw ALL the crap that was being put out there online and just wanted to eradicate the myths and cut through the noise once and for all.
THIS is HOW I'm able to show up the way I show up!
This has been my transformation and I stand for that TODAY!

1) It's NEVER just about losing weight.
2) There's NOTHING sustainable about a meal plan.
3) NOONE wants a short term fix.
Phil came to me wanting to get in shape, on a vegan diet, but didn't know where to start.
Super excited to share Phil's story because, as with EVERYONE I get to work with, their transformations extends far beyond the numbers on the scale.
