When Retro Kalamazoo closed and its owners departed for snowier pastures above the bridge, it left not only a hole in our hearts, but also it left Retro Posters without a local outlet.
While no one can ever take the place of Bob and Thom, we are thrilled to announce that Retro Posters has found a new home at Diversity Vintage & Curio Shop here in Kalamazoo!
Eliza and Cassie actually bought out a lot of Retro's stock (to augment their own massive collection) as Bob and Thom prepared for their journey north. The shop is awesome and we couldn't be happier with our new home. Check them out, especially next week during Art Hop, when they are celebrating their one-year anniversary!

While many of these images are available for free download on the Library of Congress website, these posters haven't looked this good since they were originally printed in the 1930s and '40s. Many were shot with uneven lighting or require extensive color correction. Others are so badly damaged, the original files are useful as a historical reference only. At Retro Posters, we painstakingly restore these pieces to "fine" or "very fine" condition, maintaining or correcting to the original color intent, repairing most tears or missing sections, all the while ensuring the posters retain their "vintage" feel.
All posters are printed on a 13' x 19" 14-point, acid-free substrate. Some are available larger (17" x 22").
