On June 6th, Cervy Ramos (BSE 202-B English), Julia Pelaez (BSE 102-B Math), and Katrina Ancheta (BSE 102-A Science) participated in the 'PAHAYAG: Paaralang Leticia Ladlad Cavite' Journalistic Skills Training Program and Educational Discussion at Cavite State University- Main Campus.

The event was organized by CvSU Gazette, UPLB Perspectives, and the College Editors Guild of the Philippines - Southern Tagalog. Mr. Ramos and Ms. Pelaez both won second place awards in Opinion and Culture Writing categories respectively.

For our victory in the 18-DAY CAMPAIGN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN 2023! 🥳🎉🏆 EDUC took a stand and exhibited their talents in the concluded campaign to promote awareness and eliminate violence against women. With passion, dedication, and unwavering energy, the Department of Teacher Education bagged some awards in the following categories:

🏆 Street Dance Competition- 1st Place (95%)

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our DTE Babies, the Laboratory Science High School for bagging the Street Dance Competition (2nd Place). Film Making( 1st Place) and Best in Attendance Awards🎉

We saw teachers stand in front of the class for an hour to do their prime, but we didn't see their sleepless nights to prepare for their lessons.

We saw teachers assessing our knowledge at the end of the discussion, but we didn't see their frowning foreheads whenever they weighed what knowledge to inject into the multiple subjects they have for the school year.

We saw teachers smiling at us as we greeted them in the hallways, but we didn't see their alarm being set as early as they could to equip their body and mind while freeing their emotions.

We see a profession that creates all other professions: the noble profession of being a teacher.

As October 5 marks our calendar, the English Society offers its lowest bow and highest gratitude to all of the educators. You paved the rocky roads towards self-discovery and learning. You created the rocks into pieces of stepping stones towards success. Happy Teachers' Day, Ma'am and Sir! ❤️💛
