A wonderful opportunity to not only renew past relationships but to help our children with disabilities and learn at the same time. Very much appreciated Debbie & Connor Wilson. Hope to have you back again soon.

This week Deb & Connor are over in Samoa, mentoring the Loto Taumafai team with the support of Altus Resource Trust.

It’s been over 5 years since Seating To Go have been in Samoa, & our travelling staff members have been made to feel really welcome for their week of mentoring. The training has been opened by Loto Taumafai to the NHS Mobility Device Service, Samoan Spinal Network Trust and ACC. This is a great opportunity to network and look at ways of working collaboratively. The week involves training sessions, as well as practical hands-on assessment, fitting & repairs. Here are some photos of their trip so far...

Class photos of our students in their beautiful school uniforms and shoes sponsored by The Stephen-Fua Campaign last year. The Stephen-Fua Campaign team are headed back to Samoa soon to continue their generous work. Malo lava!

Every Thursday and Friday our Community Based Rehabilitation/Early Intervention team run Parent and Child groups. These groups provide an opportunity for parents and children to learn new skills together, socialise with each other and build support networks.

Last week was school holidays for Loto Taumafai so our staff had a team-building day at Tafatafa beach. We did team-building games, played touch and volleyball, barbecued and swam. An awesome day was had by all! We also fare-welled one of our wonderful volunteers Tomoko. Tomoko is an occupational therapist who has volunteered at Loto Taumafai for two years through the JICA program.
