BCPAP technology is now an integral part of care in the NICU unit within TTM Hospital Apia - Samoa. Introducing the Bubbling CPAP to Samoa's Tupua Tamasese Meaole (TTM) Hospital (Neonatal Unit) in 2008, to support premature and sick infants of my beautiful country.

[07/26/13]   In June 2008 - Thanks to a close nursing and midwife colleague, David Blee, who helped establish the BCPAP in the Kingdom of Tonga, for his mentoring advice and believing in me. And also to Fisher and Paykel representative Geoff Bold for his generosity with the donation of the 1st BCPAP equipments for my introduction, that this system is now operating at Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital Apia Samoa.

[07/26/13]   Thank you everyone for your likes and kind comments. As humble as I am, I have kept these pictures for years, waiting for the right time to publish them, just as I pondered over how I was going to introduce the Bubbling CPAP to Samoa in 2008, which took me 5 years to plan how to do it, and who were the right contacts. My prayers have been answered and the network is growing with Samoan nurses strengthening their knowledge and skills in neonatal nursing care, through the help of bigger organizations.
