Talofa lava! Thank you for adding me to this awesome page! It was indeed a blessing to have visited our school in Apia a couple of times. May GOD continue to bless the management, the teachers and especially the children. Manuia!
We discussed discipline on Friday then I saw this article this morning in the observer. Very topical. I would encourage the school to be a leader in this area and use other forms of discipline other than using the ruler. The children need to feel safe to be ready to learn.

This is a very late upload - but congratulations to all the beautiful children who participated in this wonderful e-learning initiative especially our little Saints - Roger Ah Kuoi, Kevin Lees, Situfu Paul Alafau, EJ Alesana and Alberto Rios. May these opportunities offered by all these wonderful people - the Australian High Commission, Pacific E Learning Foundation, Zyberwise, KVA Consult and all the hardworking volunteers led by Alex Abraham - provide ways for you all to reinforce and strengthen your individual journeys in life!

Thank you Your Excellency Emily Luck for making time for us and to Father Raymond Betham for the prayers and blessings :) Thank you also to the Chairman of our School Board Faamausili Chris Solomona for your support but most of all thank you Nadia and Alex - it was a pleasure working with you and look forward to our next module :D

Photos of Years 5 and 6 Gagana Samoa syllabus activity (Gasesega ma le lufilufiga o taumafa Samoa❤️) There was much laughter and enjoyment as all the students (led by their Gagana Samoa teacher Ms Lauaki) shared the task of making boiled taro and fish grilled directly on charcoal and then doused in coconut milk... They were kind enough to share with the teachers and it was absolutely delicious! Best a taumafa Samoa :D

[07/12/21]   This is a gentle reminder to all our parents and caregivers that our Term 3 school fees are due this week (Friday 16 July). Thank you for your support!

[07/11/21]   Talofa lava in the name of our Risen Lord! I hope this message finds you all in the best of health! Please be advised that our Parents Day starts this Friday 16 July. All parents and caregivers are respectfully asked to make an appointment with your child(ren)'s teacher so that you do not have a long wait - even if it means making a time for next week if you are unavailable this Friday.

There will be no school for our Little Saints this Friday but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your child when you come to his or her interview.

We look forward to welcoming you all at our school! Manuia lenei vaiaso...God bless you all!

Reading: Psalm 23

The Song of Simeon - Nunc Dimittis
Lord now you let your servant go in peace:
your word has been fulfilled.
My own eyes have seen the salvation:
which you have prepared in the sight of every people,
a light to reveal you to the nations:
and the glory of your people Israel.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and shall be for ever. Amen.

🙏
You have ordered this wondrous world, O God,
and you know all things in earth and heaven:
so fill our hearts with trust in you that by day and by night,
at all times and in all seasons,
we may without fear commit those who are dear to us
to your never failing love,
for this life and the life to come,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Mihi for the late Archbishop Fereimi Cama
From the Primates - Archbishop Don Tamihere and Archbishop Philip Richardson.

E pari ra te tai ki te wahapū, ki tua;

Grief can leave our most high and sacred mountain shaken, even if only for the moment; its peak may shed delicate pieces of itself, and crumble to the land below in deep sorrow, even to the sea;

Even to the very tides that first welcomed us, to the very edges of this great ocean that first united our people.

The gentle waves of our sadness reach across the sea to distant harbours and far away shores, across the sacred trail of the innumerable who preceded us.

May your spirit now take flight, oh beloved one, to the gathering place of the Saints; from there may your gaze return to us, the congregation of faith, gathered now in deep mourning.

Our hearts echo softly with the ancient laments of our people, sung for you Archbishop Fereimi; our shepherd who has departed from us, gone beyond the veil, taken to the place of eternal rest.

Take your place among the Saints, our beloved Archbishop Fereimi, oh good and faithful servant. May you rest there in everlasting peace.
