Expertise and guidance related to curriculum development, classroom management, and administration. My goal is to provide insight related to early childhood, primary, secondary, and special education.
I am a native English speaker from Los Angeles, California and I am passionate about teaching English here in Vietnam. I enjoy teaching here in HCMC and work at VUS as well as Goldfish Kindergarten, I also give private lessons throughout Binh Thanh, District 1, District 3 and Quan 2. I would love to teach English to you or your child/teenager, making a positive impact on your/their lives for their academic careers, to improve socio-economic opportunities when entering the job market, as well as for travel/leisure purposes. I am confident that I possess the key characteristics of an effective ESL teacher. I am an innovative, detail-oriented, and dynamic person with a lifelong enthusiasm for students of all communities, cultures, and countries. Moreover, I have experience teaching a second language to others. I have over two years experience teaching English in South America, after receiving my 140 hours International Diploma of English Language Teaching from Bridge Argentina, I specifically taught business English within companies and taught high school age (13-17) students after school for additional learning. With my young learners I mainly taught teenagers, motivating and encouraging them to make English a part of their lives. I learned how to optimally teach to each student’s learning potential and build their knowledge base in English during my two years teaching English there. I apply my experience in South America to my classes here in HCMC where I teach mix level primary school classes of 20-25 students as well as teaching university students/adults at night. I am constantly seeking new knowledge and innovative methods of teaching English. My excitement and passion about the English language will benefit my students immensely as they will not only learn about the English language, its structure, grammar, vocabulary, phonology, etc. but they will also be taught in a fun and energetic way. My teaching skills, experience, enthusiasm, and flexibility in teaching make me not only a good teacher, but a likeable one. I am an ideal candidate to be your private English teacher because I make learning English enjoyable, I use outside materials that are authentic (for example, magazines, newspaper articles, etc.), I teach to each learner’s unique profile, and I have proven to possess strong interpersonal skills and relate well to my students, Teaching Assistant’s and my student’s demanding parents. Please contact me should you have any questions, it would be my pleasure to assist you! :)

It’s easy to walk by and yell at them to sit up and pay attention or bang their desk as you walk by,...
