The children were creative in making sculpture using plasticine. They were communicators in expressing their ideas about the sculptures that they did.

The children were fascinated in observing the flowers in the playground. They were respectful as they didn't pick the flowers from the plants, but they picked up the fallen flowers and were creative in using the flowers by making their own art.

They were enthusiastic communicators in expressing their ideas about the art that they made.

AIS offers multiple extracurricular activities for our primary and secondary students ranging from fun music sessions, supportive maths tutoring, wonderful science experiments, to active sports practices. Over the past 10 weeks our students have been engaging in a great variety of activities that build communication skills, promote creative thinking and help cool off after busy days at school. As term 2 commences, the AIS Autumn ECAs will come to an end. Our Winter ECAs will start on the 14th of November, please do make sure you have signed up. We hope to see our AIS students there!

WORKSHOP: STUDY IN GERMANY
We are excited to bring students and parents an exclusive workshop, “Study in Germany,” presented by DAAD and VGU.
This workshop will cover the following:
- German universities with English and German-speaking degree programs
- Living in Germany, including living costs and tuition fees
- Studienkolleg will no longer be necessary due to a new special agreement with the IBO as of 24th March 2022, graduates from your school will get full entrance to German universities.

On Tuesday, 25th October, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the school Auditorium, ATS is hosting an Australian University Fair. Approximately 25 tertiary institutions will be represented at the fair including Australia's top Group of 8 Universities.

This is an opportunity for secondary to speak with university representatives and ask questions—a process that all AIS students go through. Moreover, this is an excellent chance for Year 13 students who want to study in Australia to learn the information they need to choose which institutions to apply to, and to also better understand the range of scholarships available.

It was wonderful to see over fifty parents gathering at the Cherry Blossom and Thu Thiem Campuses this week for two "coffee mornings". The theme was "connections". The relaxing atmosphere was enhanced by outstanding musical performances by primary students. We are pleased to welcome parents back onsite.

Thật tuyệt vời khi thấy quý vị phụ huynh tập trung tại Cơ sở Cherry Blossom và Thủ Thiêm trong hai buổi "Coffee mornings" với chủ đề "sự kết nối". Bên cạnh đó, tiết mục văn nghệ của các em học sinh tiểu học đã góp phần làm không khí trở nên ấm cúng. Một lần nữa, chúng tôi rất vui được chào đón quý phụ huynh tại trường.

Our eager Year 12 students attended camp in Ninh Binh facilitated by Asia Motions and the AIS IB team. They enthusiastically participated in stand-up paddle boarding and a duathlon in Cuc Phuong National Park, which challenged the students mentally and physically. They were able to work together in teams to push each other to complete the demanding tasks whilst having some fun along the way. Alongside learning more about the IB program at AIS, the students were able to embrace opportunities to become more active in the community through designing feeding enrichment for sun bears and discussing the importance of education around turtle rescue in Vietnam. It was an amazing week filled with laughs, jokes, bus trips, new friendships and sunscreen, which will be memorable for all.

Học sinh Y12 tham dự hội trại tại Ninh Bình do Asia Motions và AIS IB tổ chức. Các em được tham gia trượt ván đứng và thi đấu các môn phối hợp tại Vườn Quốc gia Cúc Phương. Cùng với việc tìm hiểu thêm về chương trình IB tại AIS, các em còn có thể thông qua các hoạt động ngoại khóa như sản xuất thức ăn cho gấu hay thảo luận về tầm quan trọng của việc cứu hộ và bảo tồn rùa tại Việt Nam. Một tuần tuyệt vời với những tiếng cười, những chuyến đi khám phá các địa danh. Đây chắc chắn sẽ là một kỉ niệm không thể quên dành cho các em.

The 2022 Moon Festival at AIS was an exciting event with the presence of Chú Cuội, a lion dance, impressive and creative musical performances, and the lantern walk. The celebration was a memorable occasion. The community learnt about Vietnam’s traditional culture and the story of the man and the moon. The Moon Festival is also an opportunity to express our feelings to our loved ones.
