🇺🇸🇺🇸 A Special Message to Our Military Veterans 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Most of us will never quite know what it is like to have walked in your shoes, to understand the gravity of the sacrifices you have made and uncertainty you endured in service to our country. So, it is with utmost gratitude and respect that we celebrate you on Veterans Day and always.
We are fortunate to work with you, the heroes among us.
To pause and thank you for your service seems trite in comparison to the sacrifices you made and the courage it took to protect us and defend our rights as U.S. citizens.
Please accept this heartfelt “thank you” on behalf of all of us at Summit Academy for all you have done to ensure our freedom. We honor you and salute you!
David Chance

Michael Prendergast
Jarret Sack
We honor each of our heroic and humble Veterans.
On behalf of our entire Summit Academy family, thank you for your service!
Respectfully,
John Guyer

More than 300 family members attended an October 5 family night for both Summit Academy – Canton schools at North Canton Skate and Entertainment Center.
“This was the highest participation in a family event that either school has ever had,” says Principal Tiffany George.
Attendees participated in a prize raffle, received academic resources and enjoyed pizza and soft drinks.
Principal George also shared that Canton Secondary’s monthly Career Days have drawn dynamic speakers from the community. Students were impressed by Project REBUILD Inc.’s presentation in September, prompting three of them to sign up for the program. This month, representatives from Stark State College engaged with students, some staying after the college’s presentation to request campus visits.
”We are excited about all the cool opportunities our kids will be exposed to during these Career Days,” Principal George says.

ICYMI: Did you know that October is ADHD Awareness Month?
Our goal is to spread awareness and education about this medical condition that affects millions of children and their families.
As parents and guardians, it can be difficult to understand how ADHD impacts our children's lives and how we can best support them.
That's why we reached out to our Behavior Specialist Laura Rickard, M.Ed., LPC, to provide us with her expertise and insights on this topic.
