Babies!!!

The Music Together Babies class, for families with infants from birth through eight months at the semester start, is an introduction to Music Together and to early childhood music development. After this one semester, the family enrolls in a mixed-age class. The music activities in a Babies class are specifically designed to teach parents how to support music development in infancy and how to connect with their infants through music, using concepts like “purposeful touch,” “sound layering,” and “dancing for baby.” Babies classes use the same collection as Mixed Ages classes, enabling a seamless transition for families and teachers between class programs. Babies classes allow us the opportunity to honor each child’s musical birthright by supporting music development in infancy. Because of this, these children receive earlier musical support which helps them develop and grow into confident music-makers.

It’s ! We thank and appreciate all teachers around the world, including our very own Music Together teachers. We couldn’t do it without you!

Rolling around in the middle, sitting in a corner, wandering around the circle, as long as everyone is safe, anything goes in our classes! Some little learners need to sit and observe to learn while others need to MOVE IT MOVE IT! We honor all learning styles and trust the children to take in the musical information in whatever way they see fit! You never need to worry about making your kids sit in Music Together!

We’re a couple weeks into our fall semester but we split our big babies class into 2 so that we can welcome more families into our musical parenting community. Join the fun !

This special event is for children ages birth to 8 and the grownups who love them! Wear your costumes and celebrate the magic of the Halloween season with fun and silly songs and movement. Take photos at our Halloween photo booth! Pricing is $25 per household family (families who are not currently attending classes) or $20 per household family (families who are currently enrolled in our fall Music Together® classes)
