This book is for anyone who wants to learn precalculus and calculus in a fun and easy way. The book has clear explanations, gives simple problems with answers and explanations, and includes colorful, engaging illustrations and graphics. It will give students a huge head start with the advanced math that is introduced in high school. It is also extremely helpful for older students struggling at all in this subject. I wish my own daughter had had a book like this – that is why I wrote it!

Please check out my other, non-math-related book that focuses on fun, creative drawing and writing.

Hello, I am conducting a research study investigating how teachers acquire knowledge of new curriculum and implement new practices in the classroom. I am in need of teachers who are in 0-2 years of learning arts integration as an instructional practice. I really need teachers to share honest accounts of their experiences whether they like arts integration, appreciation arts integration, or dislike arts integration. Please email me at [email protected] or direct message me. I would love to hear your story. Thank You #artsintegration
Hi Friends! I am looking for case studies on arts integration and environmental education/climate change projects. Please contact me or share ideas here! Thank YOU!!
Hello! I'm looking for a super simple explanation of sound waves that is NOT video. Any help is appreciated.
I am currently working on my master's degree and taking a class on project-based learning. My assignment this week is to interview someone who is well-versed with STEAM, PBL, or arts integration. Preferably someone who is currently teaching using one of the mentioned approaches. The interview consists of 10 questions max, and I can either email them or message them to you. I know everyone is busy with teaching and the holidays, but I would really love someone to help me out.
I am attempting to write a grant that uses Art as a tool for SEL during COVID. Can someone help suggest a creative, catchy title? It will be offered to students in grades k-12

Curiosity drives learning. Nurturing children's natural curiosity, and helping sustain this curiosity over the long run should be the goal of education. Yet, much of our education system is built on an approach of passing on information and telling. Art-based approaches, built on a foundation of inquiry and investigation, can help reclaim and foster children's curiousity.

Join us on August 29th, 2:00 to 5:00pm for an interactive, hands-on session on ‘Nurturing Curiosity through Investigation’. To register: https://forms.gle/YhTXLvhExxmzpd7y7

We all know that students are opinionated during a regular school year. What do you think they'll have to say after a year of distance learning, Zooms, and hybrid schedules?

Give them some time to share their thoughts and feelings with you. You might be surprised at what they say.

A new month means new goals.

Why not use these last few weeks of the school year (for many) to share one way you plan on being creative with your learners? They won't let you forget it!

As the school year comes to an end, it also comes with a release of all the emotions we've been keeping in. What is coming to the surface may be a mixed bag of feelings - from resentment and frustratration to joy and happiness.

But as we are able to begin to process this past year, another year of teaching through a pandemic, there's something else we're going to have to reconcile: forgiveness.

Any time we have these feelings of hurt, forgiveness for that hurt is an option and an opportunity. In this episode, we'll be talking about using a strategy called Collect, Connect, and Correct the Dots that will help you get through the hurt.

This school year has certainly been a rollercoaster... Why not let your learners express their thoughts, frustrations, or emotions through dance?!

Physical movement is cathartic and may be just what your students need.

There is no doubt that this school year has been difficult.

Remote Teaching.

Hybrid Learning.

Face Masks.

But instead of focusing on all the adversity we faced, why not help students realize that through adversity comes the biggest growth?

All too often it’s our vulnerable students who need the arts more than anyone. Using the arts with them is what will help them feel connected. When the school year is over, and they hear the piece of music you told them about, or see the piece of art or read the book you recommended, they will still feel the connection you had to them. It might be just the thing they needed – the distant hug that you give them without even realizing it.

The arts bring us together help us to feel less isolated.
