Beautiful job St. John School Choir!
Please take a moment to listen: As we conclude this month dedicated to the sacredness of all human life the Hernandez family composed a beautiful song called “Hello Dear Mother” and our children from our Saint John School Choir were the appropriate voices to carry the message...

From Fr. Mark: A heart filled with the joy of the gospel has no room for hatred, racism, bigotry or oppression of any kind. Jesus calls us to love our neighbor and yes even our enemies and those who would persecute us. The Cross of Christ is the true measure of love that every Christian is called to demonstrate in his or her life without exception. We might not be able to change the entire world all at once, but we do have control and responsibility over own actions and words. We stand in solidarity with our bishops, local congregations and people of good will in standing against any form of oppression and calling all to civility, discourse and upholding the life and dignity of every person.
Congratulations to all of our alumni that graduated from high school and college this year! Mark Bialek and our Saint John Parish Family invite our local community to join us on Saturday, September 24th at 10:30am in lifting our voices in prayer for the safety of our first responders: men and women in law enforcement, fire/rescue and public safety who put their lives in harms way to protect and serve our community in Westminster, Carrol County and the State of Maryland. We will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and ask for the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel to protect all those who serve and intercede for those fallen in the line of duty. A reception in the Portico will follow. Please help us make this a special event as we honor and pray for those who serve us so faithfully!
