Four talented McDaniel Art alumni are highlighted in two virtual exhibitions organized by Art faculty in conjunction with McDaniel College's Esther Prangley Rice Gallery.
Titled “Onward” and “Embracing Monotony and Filling the Blanks,” they both include a range of media from two- and three-dimensional approaches to digital and new media. The online exhibitions run through Nov. 24.
Two virtual guest artist talks are also planned.
Jonathan Nepini ’19 and Katie Ogorzalek ’19, who have pieces showcased in “Onward," speak on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.
David Ross ’11 and Steph Perez ’15, who are displaying their work in “Embracing Monotony and Filling the Blanks,” speak on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.

The exhibition runs through Friday, Feb. 28, in McDaniel’s Esther Prangley Rice Gallery. Works include paintings by professor Steven Pearson, Chinese-styled watercolor and ink paintings by professor Susan Clare Scott and intermedia and digital art by assistant professor Chloe Irla, as well as additional works by adjunct lecturers Walter Calahan, Linda Van Hart, Chinen Aimi, Nicole Diem and Nicole Ringel.

Guest curator, Dr. Robert Lemieux, from the Communication and Cinema department giving his curator's talk about his exhibition, Visions of the Circus. The show took him three years to plan and looks great (and yes those are Alexander Calder drawings from the Whitney Museum's collection that he is pointing to). Internship Opportunities at Creative Time

Creative Time is excited to announce that this summer we are offering paid internship positions. Running June 1st through August 7th, we’ll be offering 10 positions across all departments, including Marketing & Communications, Development, Programming, Executive & Operations, and Global Initiatives. These 10-week, four-day-a-week positions will each receive a $2,250 stipend. Besides gaining hands-on experience producing projects, developing research and contributing to organizational goals, interns will also participate in both internal and external planning meetings, attend staff presentations, and travel to local cultural institutions for behind-the-scenes tours.
Department descriptions can be found on our website here and the application can be found here, with a deadline of March 31st. We encourage undergraduate, graduate and very recent graduates (within the last year) to apply. International applicants will be considered but must make their own visa, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
