Friendship, fun and bowling with the Wartburg College Global Connections crew.It was a wonderful night.

[11/11/16]   Also, remember to take pictures with your partners at the bowling event tonight. So far we have Molly and her two partners, we need more pictures. Whoever wins the competition and gets the most likes wins a $25 gift card from the Wartburg bookstore.

11/11/2016

& IMPORTANT!!! Give the money to Leif when you see him. If you don't remember who he is, here is a picture of our lovely Leif.
Your money plus Global Connections' money pays for bowling shoes and 2 hours of bowling. If you want to leave earlier than 11 p.m., you may need to walk back. Luckily the bowling alley isn't too far from campus!

[11/11/16]   Hey guys! Just a small reminder that TONIGHT is BOWLING !!! :)
Be excited and bring your partner and $5 to the event. If you want food and drinks then bring more money as that will be a bit more expensive.
Meet @ Student Info Desk at 8:45 PM. We have drivers who will be driving us there and we are expected to stay for about 2 hours, but you are free to leave before that if you want.
Have a great day and see you tonight,
GC Team.

[10/26/16]   Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey monkey for bowling. We will let you know the exact day soon.

Hope everyone is excited for the PHOTO COMPETITION We have a $25 giftcard to the Wartburg Bookstore that we want to give to the partners who take a photo together and gets the most likes on our page. Send your photos (along with a sentence about what you did or what you learned) to [email protected] and then we will go ahead and post them.

Remember to like, share and/or comment on the actual photo.

The competition will end in early December. So if you meet with your partner more than once before December, keep sending in your photos!
With love,
The GC Team.

[09/21/16]   Hey Global Connections participants!!!

The team paired everyone up last night. To meet each other, we will get together this Friday, September 23. We decided to meet at 5:15 p.m. in the Hub (near the Den and mailboxes). We will help you find your partner(s), briefly talk about expectations, and then we will all head up to the Mensa before it closes and we can sit together.

We tried our best to make matches based on the information you gave us. Since there were a few more domestic students than international students some international students have two partners, feel free to hang out with them together or separately, whatever you want :)

After this Friday, it is up to you and your partner to meet in the future (such as go to Movie Knight, grab coffee, etc.).
If you can't meet this Friday, you can email your partner and find time to meet! (I-Club BBQ is this Saturday, so you could always take your partner there instead.....)

Let us know if you have any further questions,

Thanks and see you Friday,
Global Connections Team.

What are you doing for dinner tonight? Grab your partner and come to the global connections grill out behind the manors! We have tons of prizes! Hope to see you there! :)
