There is very little evidence that detox diet results in long term weight loss.
Detox diets cannot identify specific toxins they claim to remove. In addition there is little evidence they remove any toxins! Your body has amazing detoxification organs and processes to detox itself. That's what the liver is for and the reason we poop and pee.

[01/02/16]   Today marks 12 years of Vitality Inc., Health for a Lifetime. My first location was in the back room of a chiropractor's office, then I moved to another Main Stree 4 years later, and 3 years later I moved and hung my own shingle at 211 S. Main Street, and have been here for 5 years. There were some very very lean years when I thought I would have to go back to the health clubs..but that voice kept saying "just a bit longer". And slowly things changed...I started believing I could work with kids and before I knew it and still do have 5 of the most amazing young people on my weekly schedule, the majority of my business is weight loss and people looking to get healthy and that is so rewarding to be part of their change, my specialty population consist of people with orthopediac issues/fractures/pain of the low back, SI Joint dysfunction, injury rehab for knees, hips and ankles. I have worked with individuals with autoimmune disease, nutritonlly as well as strengthening.
I look back and say I will never get rich doing what I do, but there are not too many individuals that can say they love what they do. Touching peoples lives and them touching mine is the most rewarding work. Thank you Wauconda, and those few clients that have followed me from my Forest Grove Days until now.

These chronic syndromes have not excisted through time, I truly believe this inflammation, poor gut health which results in a poor immune system are a product of our times...poor food sources and poor diet, poor lifestyle, exercising too much or to an extreme or not exercising at all, the need to always be connected to the outside world through our electronic devices...staying up all hours..working until we drop.
