"In the wake of the Supreme Court's recent decision, it's time to redouble our efforts." - Former President Barack Obama

We wholeheartedly agree. Our commitment to getting students of color access to higher ed has never been stronger.

A huge thank you to Barack Obama for supporting us and our mission 🎓

06/29/2023

Today’s Supreme Court decision to overturn 45 years of precedent around the importance of diversity in higher education and admissions has dealt a significant blow to our work, efforts, and commitment to education access. It has become even harder for students of color to have a seat at the table and get the educational opportunities they deserve.

Despite this setback, DC-CAP is determined to keep supporting students of color on their college journeys. Please consider donating to us and other orgs that continue to including: UNCF, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, APIA Scholars, American Indian College Fund, thedream.us, Thurgood Marshall College Fund and more.

Together, we can create opportunities for a brighter future.
