Earlier this week, six faculty members and 18 graduate nursing students demonstrated the power of advocacy on Capitol Hill.
They focused on promoting nurse-midwives and WHNPs as essential to addressing the ongoing perinatal health care crisis. They met with members of legislative offices to discuss three transformative bills: the Momnibus Act, the MOMS Act, and the I CAN Act.
These efforts highlight the critical role nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners play in driving health care solutions.

Army ROTC cadet Erin Dombroski (N’25) spent part of her summer at Fort Johnson in Vernon Parish, Louisiana.
