This song gives me chills and reminds me of how hard we worked on so many shows together and what incredible direction we had from Doc Warman and Brother Jon. I am brushing off the dust and trying to learn all 4 parts to see if I can still do it! Being part of this tradition has been such a blessing to so many, not least to those of us who had the good fortune to perform on the stage at 19 Eye St. Hope you enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving to all - xo
Thank you to the many alumni and current students who made last Saturday night's Gonzaga Dramatic Association's Bicentennial Show a roaring success!

If you missed the show, or would like to watch it again, Gonzaga will air an encore performance this Saturday, October 23, at 7:30 PM ET right here on Facebook Live.

Please join us to watch the show alongside fellow members of the Gonzaga community and share your reactions and support in the comments section.

This spring, the Gonzaga Dramatic Association was just three days away from the opening night of Newsies when the show had to be cancelled because of the coronavirus. Although the show couldn’t take the stage this spring, the GDA invites you to watch a highlight reel from Tech Week!

Sit back and enjoy some of the show’s biggest numbers and get a sense of the talent, passion, and energy the cast and crew brought to the stage every day.

Thank you to the students and their parents for their tireless work and devotion to Gonzaga and the GDA.
Bravo GDA. Thank you for staging such a meaningful play.
It was an honor to host Father Martin yesterday during our school-wide performance of The Laramie Project!

The Gonzaga Dramatic Association will be performing the show tonight and tomorrow night in Sheehy Theater. Click here for tickets: https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/cal/34397

For anyone planning to attend Into the Woods the next two weekends, please read the following message related to Gonzaga's masking policy:

As of March 8, 2022, the DC Department of Health has released updated guidance regarding masks for educational facilities. Thus, Gonzaga has announced the following change to their masking guidelines.

Faculty, staff and students are no longer required to wear a mask on campus. However, any student, parent, faculty, staff, administrator, or guest on campus is welcome to wear a mask if he/she prefers and feels more comfortable doing so.

This change has required us to shift our policy for audience members to match that of the school at large. We realize and understand that our shift in policy has come after you made the decision to purchase tickets for our show, and we apologize for any disruption or confusion this may cause.

Our students have worked incredibly hard these last eight weeks, and they’re so excited to perform for an audience. We look forward to being able to see our students perform on stage, and hope that you will still be able to join us these next two weekends.

Thank you for your patronage.

Mr. Paul Buckley
Mrs. Meghan Goldsmith
Producers, Into the Woods

p.s. If you are no longer able to attend a performance due to this shift in masking policy, please send an email to [email protected] and we will refund the cost of your tickets.

Congratulations to the 2008 Production of West Side Story for winning out first ever Battle of the GDA Shows in what was truly an epic battle!!

Photos from Gonzaga Dramatic Association's post 04/16/2020

What an amazing set of semifinals that was!! In our opening matches we had maybe 30-40 votes for the play-in contests. In yesterday's premier semifinal match we had over 400!! Hairspray was dominant from the start in its contest against Peter and the Starcatcher, but West Side had to tough it out in absolute slugfest against 42nd St. This was Duke-Kentucky circa 1992 with West Side playing the role of Duke. But they still need one more win to capture the title of best of the 2000s. That contest will start tomorrow morning as we catch our collective breath.

04/14/2020

Please note that the semifinal matches will end on this Thursday at 9:45am. Not next Thursday. So get your votes in between now and this Thursday.
