🇺🇸 This Fourth of July, we celebrate more than independence: we celebrate Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope.
As we wave our flags today, we do so with pride, knowing the Holy Father might just be doing the same from Rome.

🏆 Back-to-back! Catholic claims the Landmark Presidents’ Trophy for the 2nd straight year & 5th time overall — thanks to huge seasons across the board, including championships in women’s golf & baseball! 🔴⚫
Landmark Presidents' Trophy Stays in DC; Catholic Claims Fifth Victory - Catholic University of America TOWSON, Md. - For the second straight season and the fifth time in history, Catholic University has claimed the Landmark Conference Presidents' Trophy. Catholic becomes the third program in conference history to claim a fifth Presidents' Trophy, joining Moravian and Susquehanna.
Last week, Catholic University welcomed clergy and religious from across the country for Pilgrims of Hope, a conference hosted by the Office of Diocesan Engagement in celebration of the Jubilee Year of Hope. Designed as a time for renewal and connection, the gathering offered encouragement and support to those engaged in ministry within the Church.
The University also launched Cardinals for Christ, a new alumni network for clergy and religious. Alumni were honored at a special dinner with President Peter Kilpatrick and board members Archbishop Borys Gudziak and Archbishop Timothy Broglio. Archbishop Broglio delivered the keynote address, offering a historical reflection on the many extraordinary contributions of Catholic University alumni to the Church. President Kilpatrick also recognized alumni celebrating milestone anniversaries.
