Since 2020, Fauquier 4-H'ers have donated 7,714 dozen eggs to local food banks as part of our Poultry Service Learning Project. Thanks to funding from the PATH Foundation , we are eager to keep the food banks stocked with fresh eggs in the coming year. We are looking for youth age 5 - 19 to raise laying hens and donate eggs on a weekly basis to local food banks. The chickens and feed are funded by the PATH Foundation and families provide housing, waterers, and feeders. We are also grateful to Fauquier FFA students who will be raising chicks for the first 12 weeks of their lives, allowing families to participate without an additional brooding space. More information about this project and registration information can be found at the link below:

The Piedmont Farmers 4-H Cloverbuds learned all about flower arranging today. All the members brought something to contribute from zinnias and sunflowers they grew themselves, to greenery, to jars and the final arrangements they pulled together were stunning. They gifted all the arrangements and cards they made to go with them to White Springs Senior Living residents. It was a great way to brighten a rainy day!
