IF you need to find a cemetery e-mail us. we have hundreds in the county. Why not adopt one.
We are here to give you advise, answer questions and share how and what to do and not do so you stay healthy and in line with Va laws.

To all as an up date:
We now have several avenues in which you can donate for the repair of the tombstones.
You can contribute to:
The Fauquier Historical Society, Inc.
10 Ashby St, Warrenton, VA 20186.
Make check payable to Fauquier Historical Society, Inc. Fund to this account would be used to assess all the damage and eventually pay for the repair of all the broken stones.
Or
Most dear to the Daughters and Sons of the Confederate Veterans is a designated donation to:
The Sons of Confederate Veterans Black Horse camp #780. 9842 Routts Hill Rd Warrenton, Virginia 20186.
Make check payable to BHC780.
Any funds to the SCV camp will be used to repair specifically confederate stones that were broken. There were several and as funding for the complete project may not happen quickly the camp is proposing this as a supplemental to repair as we can, and notify FHS of the intended repair.
Or
If you have a specific family member and want specialized attention to just that stone. Then contact the Fauquier family Cemetery Foundation, Inc at [email protected] and they will create a work plan. FHS will be notified.
Finally:
The Fauquier Family Cemetery Foundation is still collecting PLEDGES only (no cash) towards a Reward Fund to catch the vandals. This is a reward for the arrest and conviction of those that did this damage. You may make a pledge at [email protected]
All the above are non-profit organizations and any contribution may be tax deductible.
I hope that answers most of your concerns.
If you have further questions you may e-mail me here at [email protected] and I will get you to the right person to answer your questions.

Town Council
Warrenton Cemetery Destruction - update 4/18/2017
Good morning all.
I prefer my information from the source and just got off the phone with Mr. Ward, Supervisor of the Town of Warrenton Cemetery Division.
Status to date. He had his men reset on their foundations 35 of the stones yesterday, and will be out there to do more today.
The plan is FIRST to reset as many of the tombstones as they can that are not broken, and then work on restoration of the remaining stone.
Contrary to the Fauquier Now article there is NO PLAN TO REPLACE. He made that very clear.
He indicated that the Town Council is receiving daily updates and are aware of his plans. He has not received feedback as to when they will meet to discuss the issue of funding for repair.
For questions on funding for the repair please contact members of the Town Council (http://www.warrentonva.gov/government/town_council/council_member_information.php) or The Town Manager,Brannon Godfrey,
Fauquier Historical Society, Inc has been excepting donations towards Repair and Restoration. NOT REPLACEMENT.
Chief Battle reports that they are still working leads, and ask the public to be patient. If /and or when an arrest is made, they want to lead to a good conviction.
Fauquier Family Cemetery Foundation is accepting Pledges towards a Reward IF NECESSARY, for the arrest and conviction of the vandals.
I will keep you posted as I learn more. Please share with those that have interest or family members on the list.
