We just received confirmation from DHV testing laboratory that our gliders Eden 6 -22 and Eden 6-33 successfully passed flight tests. All 6 sizes of our new Eden 6 are now EN-B certified and cover weight range from 56 kg up to 145 kg.

Few Eden 6 pilots already pointed in national XContests. Congratulation!

PPG WATER LANDING, PILOT ALMOST DIED !
My student broke a few rules: 1. Flying low over water 2. No floatation. 3. Failed to fix a problem that existed on a previous flight. The throttle cable was cut in half by the prop when it went between the frame and netting. With no power he landed in the river and was aspirating water when he was pulled out by bystanders. His flight deck bag covered his buckles and he couldn't get out. He was only a few seconds from drowning.

Gotta Fly 2013 to Benefit the Wounded Warrior Project

I’m writing to inform you that Powered Paragliding USA, Club #1, Flying Circus, and DC Sky diving, is hosting for the first time ever GOTTA FLY 2013 TO BENEFIT THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT!

The event will take place May 11TH at the Flying Circus located in Bealeton, VA.

We plan to have 50 warriors from South Walter Reed and from the local area along with their family and caregivers out for the day to enjoy Powered Paragliding, Powered Parachute, Ultra Light, WWII airplanes, and bi-plane rides.

It will be a day of laughter, tears, and excitement!

To make this event successful we are on a mission to raise $15,000 to cover the cost of the field, airplanes, pilots, fuel, transportation, entertainment, and food.

If you can donate a small or large amount, know it’s for a good cause and that you will make a huge difference in a lot of peoples lives! If a company donates, your logo will be on the tee shirts along with an invitation to come out and set up a tent for the day. If you choose to donate privately simply let me know and I will keep you anonymous.
