Amazing teachers and musical talent . My son has been studying at the school of rock in waldwick for 7 years and he has grown musically and developed self esteem and confidence. He has made long lasting friendships. 5 stars recommendation

This place is a second home to my daughter, she has been with the school since she’s 7. Started on keyboard lessons and then entered into the 101 group. She now plays, keyboard, some bass and although she’s never played drums in an SOR show. She’s pretty good on the kit at home. Her biggest passion is vocals. From what she has learned with her teachers at the SOR she developed from being an 8 year old standing doe eyed in front of a mic to being a special guest as she opens for Kelly Pickler. We have had so many fabulous and diverse performance experiences. Performing in the shows at the school, local festivals, mall performances; special gigs and my very favorite one of the opening bands at a metal show at Dingbatz!!!.
Music is a life long gift, (my opinion can be bias we have a few musicians in the family). Last Christmas Sarina did a duet with her great uncle a life longer drummer and singer who started when he was 13. It was a great performance and beautiful memory for all of us. Additionally my other daughter took guitar lessons for a few years and also loves to sing. Her all time favorite thing to do is rule the talent show at sleep away camp. For a week she gets to pretends she’s The Beatles.

Marlett. Susan has been working hard to enhance the current programs and find more and more ways to involve students and parents to give everyone that family feeling of being at their second home when they come through the doors at Waldwick School of Rock. Great day rockin out with our local Girl Scout troop # 97089. They earned their music badge by writing a great song, learning about the instruments, & performing with our House Band. Here’s a review from the troop leader: “Thank you so very much! The girls really loved it. Even the extra quiet girl couldn't stop talking about how much fun it was. The house band sounded AWESOME!
