( good paper is essential - recommend watercolor or mixed media paper) Otherwise head on over to this link to find what you will need! (or run over to Michael’s Art & Craft store.) Summer break and my two sons are back to drawing together. ❤️ Find a drawing buddy & both pick an object to draw. Mine have been doing it for years. It is both restorative & dopamine/ happy reward hormone/ building! 📚🙇🏻♂️✍️

Take time to help your child study details in nature - let it be their teacher,… changing sky colors, cloud shapes, tree barks, leaf patterns, flower colors, bird sizes, insects moving, rock shapes, new growth emerging, vines climbing! Which one interests them the most? Take note - & expand that area of interest.
I would buy non fiction books with great pictures & quick word explanations… a gentle way to help them fall asleep by themself … ☺️
(At the time I used the Book Depository, UK as they offered free overseas shipping, a favorite was the ‘Usborne’ books.)
