Founded in 2010, USCECC aims to provide personalized learning services to students while inculcating them with important learning values so that students are prepared for a successful educational experience.
Purpose: The student’s well-being is the core of our purpose. We are devoted to educating the whole person and to building up generations of strong communicators and citizens in our communities. We exist to see students through the critical years of their lives. To walk alongside families, helping them not only on their college path, but also on their path to understanding themselves.
We believe in guiding students through this journey so that they can find their passion, be content with who they are, and better serve our world. We work to see our students succeed in all aspects of life. As we see students develop, grow, and go into the world confident in their knowledge, we feel that our purpose has been fulfilled.
First, to prepare, enrich, and impart knowledge to our students in the areas of academics and personal well-being. We envision students that move on to the next phase of life, strong, confident and happy. We envision students who live with purpose, passion, and the desire to better themselves and the world.
Second, we work to serve our communities. We strive to do this through building up students with strong ethics and character. We are also committed to devoting our own actions to the betterment of our communities. We hope to be a true example for our students. Putting our words into action and making change happen in the world around us. Our Services Include: Enrichment Classes, Private Tutoring, College Applications, Volunteer Programs (through Veritas Education Leaders), Education Workshops, and Career Coaching.
Because of our committment to serve our communities, Veritas Education Leaders was formed in 2015 to bridge cultural and educational gaps. One of Veritas Education Leaders' programs is BranchOut!, a 21st Century Multicultural STEM Education program, where we recruit top high school students from around the country to mentor students in STEM subjects. Our program began with 20 high school students from all over the DC area who served as mentors at a charter school in DC in 2016. Since then, we have expanded to include close to 100 mentors from 30 different schools serving students in Virginia, DC, New York, and Maryland. Our program is continuing to grow with support from members of Congress and prominent school board officials. Through our student leadership program, we hope to help underprivileged students gain the education that they deserve to close the cultural achievement gap, create a diverse future in STEM, and enhance student mentors' leadership and communication skills.
