To my beloved Vienna, Virginia c To my beloved Vienna, Virginia community,

The Haiti team at Emmanuel Lutheran Church is so excited to be going to Haiti for a fourth year in a row. We are blessed that our mission continues to grow and that we are able to keep working to help the teachers at Village of Hope become better teachers and inspire the next generation of Haiti.

Our team is having a rummage sale Saturday March 4th to help offset some of the costs to send a team to Haiti. Below is a short blurb with further details.

We would love to see the community there, and if you are willing and available, we are looking for man (or woman :)) power at the moment. We are in need of people to help price and sort before the sale. We are also in need of people to drive the day of after the sale to take what we don't sell to a donation center. Contact information if you are interested in volunteering is below.

Thank you for all your love and support!

Rummage Sale! May 4, 2019

Though practical wisdom says you can’t be two places at the same time, this year’s Rummage Sale does just that! The proceeds from the sale benefit the Haiti Village of Hope Teacher Professional Development program, and the sale itself benefits our community by providing an affordable and convenient place for our neighbors to shop for clothes, home goods, and toys.

The sale will be held Saturday, May 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted in the Fellowship Hall via the front (not Preschool) entrance from 1:00 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 through Friday, May 3. These drop-off dates will need to be strictly adhered to as it is for the safety of the preschool children occupying the Fellowship Hall until noon on Wednesday. Contact Gena Norquist with questions at 703-577-8030 or [email protected].
