It has been an amazing Summer so far! Our Campers have learned some awesome music, made great friends, and put on incredible shows at Jammin Java! Check out a few of the pics below, and don't forget, WE ROCK ALL YEAR LONG!!

Our Sweet Tea & Sunshine Tour 2023 in wrapping up, so they visited "Hallowed Ground" in Nashville this morning and stood on one of music's most iconic stages, the former home of the famous Grand Ole Opry - The Ryman Auditorium!

The Power Triumvirate that is our Vienna, Silver Spring, Ashburn House Bands are on the road due South for the Sweet Tea and Sunshine Tour. Today they are Rockin' & Rollin' from Atlanta to Memphis, with a stop at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL!

4TH OF JULY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

School of Rock Vienna will be CLOSED TUESDAY, JULY 4TH, in observance of the Independence Day Holiday! We will be OPEN MONDAY, JULY 3RD & WEDNESDAY, JULY 5TH, for all regularly scheduled lessons and classes.

This holiday closure is built into the tuition fee schedule, and therefore make-up lessons will not be required.

We hope you all have a fun, relaxing, and safe Independence Day!

Good news! The water is back on and we will be open for all Summer Camps, Lessons, and classes on Tuesday, June 27th, at our normal.time!

Hi Vienna Parents!

Unfortunately we have had a major plumbing issue and will need to turn off the water for the remainder of the day, and will therefore need to reschedule all of today's lessons. The emergency plumbers will be arriving at some point, so we hope to be back in business tomorrow.

Brian will reach out to all affected students/parents directly. But is your student does have a lesson or class today, please kindly let us know that you have received this message.

Perhaps you're in the mood to Ride the Lightning or Pop down the street, chasing Ice Cream Man! Either way, this Summer will be Legendary!

The AllStars program is incredibly competitive and considered to be the highest level of achievement for a School of Rock student. Less than 1% of students worldwide are chosen each year, and each of the selected participants demonstrates unparalleled excellence in musicianship, performance, and leadership. We are so very proud to have these talented musicians representing SOR Vienna at AllStars and will keep you posted on their incredible musical journey!

School of Rock Vienna JV and House Bands takeover the Shipgarten in McLean, VA this Sunday, April 23rd! We will be performing from Noon to 3pm on their outdoor stage! Bring the family, bring your pups, and enjoy an afternoon of great tunes, food, and drinks!

See the guy there holding up our BOS Trophy from what seems like years ago? (It was Feb 2020.) Well today is his 9th Workversary with us! What???!!!! Brian literally is the glue that holds the school together in every possible way. You know, we know it and we hope Brian knows it! We cannot thank you enough for all you do and contribute! School of Rock Vienna will be opening on-time today for lessons and classes! We will keep monitoring the weather throughout the day, in case the situation changes. So stay warm, stay tuned, and let's Rock!!

INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE!

Looks like there might be some cold, snowy weather tomorrow morning. So here's a quick reminder regarding out Inclement Weather Close/Open Procedures:

We do not follow the county school or government closures. Frequently they make decisions in the morning based on whether or not the buses can maneuver through the neighborhoods. We make our decision to open/hold in-person lessons or groups based on whether or not our staff can safely come to work. Once we have that, we will announce our "Open In Person" or "We're Going Online" status on inclement weather weekend days by 8:00AM, by sending you an email, posting on our main SOR Vienna page and in our BAND groups.

And if you cannot make it safely to the school for your lesson, please call or email the school to let us know.

So be sure to check your inbox and social media prior to heading out. And stay safe & warm out there!!

PRESIDENTS DAY 2023

School of Rock Vienna will be open normal hours today, Presidents Day, Monday, February 20th, for all regularly scheduled Lessons, Rookies, and Rock 101 classes. There are no Performance Program Rehearsals this week. Our Spring Season kicks off NEXT Monday, February 27th! If you are unable to attend your lessons or classes, please contact Brian at the front desk.
