I've been using the Tide app during the day. I set my focus time for 20 minutes then I take a break. At least one of those breaks in the hour is using this 4 square breathing. It's a good reset for the hour. Each moment adds up and helps the whole day. I can tell when I havent had enough breathing breaks. Today I didnt have enough. Tomorrow I will have more. Progress not perfection.

I've been working really hard this last week to find my happy place. I have filled it with cozy blankets, pillows, smelly candles, warm drinks, music, and twinkling lights. It sure has made a difference in the dark and cold winter.

I am thankful for flexibility. This week I needed time for myself. A personal day to reflect and pause. Time to process some difficult emotions. Without that day I may have cracked under the pressure this week. It showed me that practicing gratitude 3 to 1 helps me to see the light in life even when the sky is gray and gloomy.

This is a little loaded..it takes that vision from last week and takes it a step further. The vision you created for yourself (go back here to find it if you haven’t yet) We start with the vision because it helps us to connect to our thoughts, feelings, and sensations about how we “see ourselves”

The purpose is what drives us, our goals, and daily actions. If we create goals without our purpose in mind-we won’t connect to it and then might not be as successful. I have my own personal example for you…

I worked on my purpose with a coach last year. What I found was that my purpose is connected to my faith, family and inner peace & happiness. Any goals I want to create should be connected to my purpose. I believe it is my purpose on earth to take part in the creation of it, such as raising my children, being a wife, being the best I can be (healthy mind/body), and serving others. I also believe that everyone deserves peace and happiness, the kind that lives inside of you and not as a result of external things like a house, car or money. These beliefs come from my faith...so they are all connected.

I did a LOT of personal work over the last 4 years. Losing weight, gaining physical strength, feeling good about myself, loving myself, and creating positive relationships in my life and my kids lives.
